      Norton Project Pack - Primer Preparation - Pack of 6 Sanding Sheets

      Project pack for sanding Filler prior to applying primer.

       

      • Each kit contains multiple grades of abrasives for preparing filler prior to applying primer paint (2 x P240, 2 x P320, 2 x P500).
      • Featuring a simple step by step guide - helping you achieve a showroom finish on your car.
      • Dimensions - 230x280mm.
    • Directions for use

      To use for sanding filler prior to painting with primer.

      Anti-clogging sandpaper with a special no fill layer to prevent dust build up for an even surface finish. Use dry.

      Tip – for heavy filler build up, sanding with grits 80-180 may eb required prior to starting the process with 240 grit.

       Step 1

      Using the 240-grade sheet – sand the filled area following the contours of the panel to restore the original shape. Use a hand block on flat even surfaces.

      Step 2

      Using the 320- grade sand the repair area including a further 2.5cm around the repair to smooth edges. See image

      Step 3

      Using the 500-grade paper sand the full repair area continuing again to sand a further 2.5cms again to smooth all edges.  See image

      Step 4

      Clean and degrease the full repair area, masking any area not to be sprayed then apply primer/ paint in line with manufacturers recommendations.

      The couriers we use to deliver your items do charge extra for some "out of area" postal locations. Due to the nature of the item, some products cannot be sent through the Royal Mail postal network and therefore must go through a specialist courier. The extra costs are beyond our control and we must therefore charge the rate set by the courier to deliver to an "out of area" postcode.
