Returns and refunds

Our colour matched paints are custom made to order. They can only be returned or refunded if the product is proven to be defective and this cannot be resolved. See more about the return of custom paints and non-custom products below.

The returns and refunds process

If there are any problems with your purchase, don’t go Nuts, email our friendly team at helpteam@paintnuts.co.uk who will advise the best course of action. 

 

Custom Made to Order paints

Please provide clear images of the vehicle, our delivery note & the product received along with the paint that has been applied to a test area of your vehicle

 

Important notes

  • We accept no liability if you have NOT tested the colour BEFORE attempting repairs.
  • We will not accept custom made to order paints to be returned or refunded if the correct application procedure has not been applied.

Non custom-made products

All our other items (unless a special one of item order) can be returned within 30 days of receipt of goods if:

  • The product is in a saleable condition
  • It is carefully and securely packaged with all labels still attached

Once returned and processed, we will inspect the item or items. 

 

Important notes

  • The items are still your responsibility until returned to us.
  • We accept NO liability for any parcels lost on their way to us, or ANY damage to the parcel whilst in transit.
  • For your own protection, please obtain a receipt from the carrier with a valid tracking number as we will not accept responsibility for lost parcels.

 

Exclusions to our 30 day returns policy

  • Any product that is returned in an unsatisfactory condition, including damage caused by the courier or due to insufficient packaging.

Returned items will be checked by one of our specialists to ensure they meet the above criteria.

 

Important notes

  • If you return items which are outside of our 30 day returns & refund policy, we will be unable to process a refund.
  • If you are returning an item that you have ordered in error or do not require the goods you must arrange a courier at your own expense.
  • For your own protection, please obtain a receipt from the carrier with a valid tracking number as we will not accept responsibility for lost parcels.

 

Refunds

All refunds will be issued to the original payment method on the order, within 10 working days of receipt at our warehouse or once the item has been checked by one of our specialists.

Some refunds will be subject to the purchase price only; the original carriage charges will not be refunded unless by prior agreement.
