PaintNuts colour matched touch up paint is a professional quality 1k air dried paint specially developed for scratches, scuffs and stone chips.
The colour matched touch up pots come with a small brush and are perfect for paint applications including scuffs and stone chips.
PaintNuts Clear Lacquer Touch Up Bottle
PaintNuts professional quality clear lacquer touch up pot provides a high gloss clear protective coating.
Developed to use in conjunction with PaintNuts colour matched paints for finishing off the repair including scratches, scuffs and stone chips creating a durable finish with shine that will last.
PaintNuts Professional Scratch & Scuff Remover
PaintNuts Professional Scratch & Scuff Remover uses the latest technology in polishing compounds, specially developed for permanently removing light scratches, scuffs and sanding marks within the first layer of the topcoat paint or lacquer, the compound will also diminish the look of deeper defects.
Safe to use on all paintwork including metallics and pearlescent paints. The compound is also specially developed to be used in conjunction with PaintNuts colour matched paints as a final finish to assist in blending the repaired paintwork and diminish any defects.

Directions for use
STEP ONE - PaintNuts Professional Scratch & Scuff Remover
Clean
Clean the vehicle and remove any dirt particles that can cause further defects.
Application
Apply a small amount of our PaintNuts compound to an applicator pad, apply even pressure in a straight back and forth motion left to right and then up and down untill the scratch or scuff has been removed or reduced.
Remove & Buff
Buff the area with our PaintNuts Micro Fibre Polishing Cloth to remove the compound residue.
STEP TWO - PaintNuts Colour Matched Touch Up Bottle
Prepare & Clean
- The surface must be clean and dry - make sure all wax, polish and grease is removed. For best results use PaintNuts Panel Wipe and a Degreasing Cloth.
If you have a deep scratch or chip OR if you can see bare metal or plastic, we recommend using PaintNuts Primer first - if rust is present, we suggest our Rust Convertor as well.
Shake & Test
- Shake bottle thoroughly for 2-3 minutes to ensure the paint is thoroughly mixed.
- Unscrew to access the brush attached to the lid within the paint. Before using the brush, please ensure you remove any excess paint from the stem of the brush, i.e scrape inside of the bottle neck.
- Test a small amount of paint within the damaged area to check the colour match – give it 15 minutes to dry as paints can often appear different in colour; inside the bottle, when still wet or if applied incorrectly or onto original undamaged paint work.
Paint & Finish
- Using the brush apply thin, light coats in smooth strokes ensuring you only apply the paint within the damaged area.
- Leave the paint to dry for 15 minutes before applying a second coat if required. Leave the paint to cure 1 hour before applying lacquer or polishing.
PLEASE NOTE: – cold, damp weather can adversely affect the application, finish, and drying time of paints.
STEP THREE - PaintNuts Clear Lacquer Touch Up Bottle
Shake
Shake bottle thoroughly for at least 60 seconds to ensure the lacquer is mixed correctly.
Preparation
The surface must be clean and dry - make sure all wax, polish and dust is removed.
Application
Using the brush apply thin, light coats in smooth strokes; allowing the brush to sit in the scratch or chip ensuring you only apply the lacquer witin the damaged area. Leave the lacquer to dry for 10-25 minutes before applying a second coat if required. Leave the lacquer to cure 24 hours before applying any polish.
