  • Product description

    PaintNuts colour matched touch up paint is a professional quality 1k air dried paint specially developed for scratches, scuffs and stone chips.

    The colour matched touch up pots come with a small brush and are perfect for paint applications including scuffs and stone chips. 

    Our touch up pots are available in either 50 or 100 ml, colour matched to your vehicles original paint code they are an ideal way to keep on top of small chips or minor damage.

    The flat, fine brush head is perfect for paint chips, scuffs or grazes wider than a scratch or 3mm.

     

  • Directions for use

    Prepare & Clean

    1. The surface must be clean and dry - make sure all wax, polish and grease is removed. For best results use PaintNuts Panel Wipe and a Degreasing Cloth.

    If you have a deep scratch or chip OR if you can see bare metal or plastic, we recommend using PaintNuts Primer first - if rust is present, we suggest our Rust Convertor as well.

    Shake & Test

    1. Shake bottle thoroughly for 2-3 minutes to ensure the paint is thoroughly mixed.
    2. Unscrew to access the brush attached to the lid within the paint. Before using the brush, please ensure you remove any excess paint from the stem of the brush, i.e scrape inside of the bottle neck.
    3. Test a small amount of paint within the damaged area to check the colour match – give it 15-30 minutes to dry as paints can often appear different in colour; inside the bottle, when still wet or if applied incorrectly or onto original undamaged paint work.

    Paint & Finish

    1. Using the brush apply thin, light coats in smooth strokes ensuring you only apply the paint within the damaged area.
    2. Leave the paint to dry for 15-30 minutes before applying a second coat if required. Leave the paint to cure 4 hour before applying lacquer or polishing.

    PLEASE NOTE: – cold, damp weather can adversely affect the application, finish, and drying time of paints.

    We aim to deliver you order within your chosen delivery schedule, if we have had to request additional information, this will affect the delivery schedule.

    If you have provided incomplete or incorrect details for your paint order this can cause delays in the order processing and despatching. If we require clarification OR any additional information, we will be in touch within 24-48 hours. As soon as we receive the required details back we will process your order on the same chosen delivery schedule.

    Please note:

    We will not accept liability for orders received outside the original scheduled delivery window if you have not provided the correct/required information to complete your order.

    Out of area charge:

    The couriers we use to deliver your items do charge extra for some postal locations – (out of area) If the shipping charge at checkout has automatically changed this is because the courier has determined this to be "out of area" Due to the nature of the item, some products cannot be sent through the Royal Mail postal network and therefore must go through a specialist courier. The extra costs are beyond our control and we must therefore charge the rate set by the courier to deliver to an "out of area" postcode.

    Please note:

    If your delivery address /post code is in the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland delivery times may be extended. Deliveries can not be made to PO Box addresses.

    Delivery to multiple occupancy premises:

    We strongly advise against deliveries to be made to hotels, workplaces or multiple occupancy premises. Any orders made, to be sent to a hotel, workplace or multiple occupancy premises are entirely at the risk of the client.
